1. What is ConCordia 2010?
ConCordia 2010 is a Central European Scout and Guide Jamboree. The meaning of the word itself is:
Con = together
Cor = heart
ConCordia = the word has Latin origins, and means “to agree”

2. What is the Jamboree’s motto?
Motto: Many hearts, One beat
The Motto reflects the name and the goal of the camp. Throughout the 12 days you will experience what many hearts, beating to one rhythm, can achieve.

3. Who can participate?
The Jamboree is open to all Scouts and Guides who are 14 or older.
 
4. When will it take place?
August 2-11, 2010
 
5. Where will the Jamboree take place?
ConCordia 2010 will take place within the perimeter of Budapest at the beautiful Sztrilich Pál Scout Park.
The park is an open but isolated area that will perfectly house the 1500-3000 Scouts and Guides that are expected to attend.
The campsite is very close to the capital. Downtown Budapest is half an hour away by bus. The Ferihegy airport is about an hour.
 
6. What is the Jamboree’s attendance fee?
You can get more detailed information on the attendance fee of the Jamboree through your own Scout Organization.
 
7. What is included in the attendance fee?
Participation in the programs
Provisions
Camping (in your own tent)
 
8. When does registration begin?
You can register for the Jamboree through your own Scout Organization. Online registration for the National Contingents will begin in September 2009.
 
9. Can changes be made to a registration once it has been turned it?
In some cases, yes. For more detailed information, please contact your troop leader.
